The 30cm loft gives real support instead of the thin padding you find on flat mats. Heavy dogs, senior dogs and breeds prone to joint stiffness get a soft, insulating layer between them and a cold hard floor, which matters most in winter and on tile or wood.
Soft Short Plush Surface
The short plush fabric is warm to lie on but easy to brush hair off, and it does not mat down as quickly as long-pile fleece. In a neutral khaki, dark grey or light grey it reads as a piece of floor furniture rather than pet gear, so it works in a living room.
